Deep Wound! 11 x 14 acrylics

There's a scene in the Scooby-Doo episode titled "Foulplay in Funland" where one of the background signs features a diver and an octopus in an epic struggle.  It's pretty intense.

That sign was the initial inspiration for this painting.  I've probably sketched two dozen different ideas from that since and "Deep Wound" is what I ended up with:

"Deep Wound" is larger (11" x 14") than most of my other paintings.  I'll get prints and maybe even the original up on Etsy soon.

This also helps prove that you just can't draw too many tentacles.
